Capsicum sabji


Capsicum sabji( kodamilagai poriyal)
This simple kodamilagai poriyal is always a hit in our family. It is very easy to make and is delicious. You can prepare and store the poriyal podi in advance. This poriyal podi can also be used with other vegetables like brinjal, raw banana. It is a great side dish for Chapati. Goes very well with curd rice too. You can also mix and eat it with white rice. Now let’s jump to the recipe.
Ingredients:
·         Capsicum – 2 nos
·         Urad dal
·         Chana dal
·         Mustard seeds
·         Sabji powder
·         Grated coconut – 1tbsp
·         Salt – as per taste

Instructions:
1.       Heat oil in tawa and add mustard seed. Let it splutter
2.       Then add urad dal and chana dal. Fry them till they turn slightly brown.
3.       Now add chopped capsicum and fry them till they turn soft. Close the tawa and fry.

4.       After they turn soft add sabji powder(poriyal podi), salt and grated coconut and fry till raw aroma of powder and coconut goes away.
Tasty capsicum stir fry is ready.
